Hemi (first photo) was adopted on Oct. 18. We followed up with the new owners a couple of weeks later. They said they’ve been working with a local behavioral training company and Hemi was doing really well. Hemi was nervous and “bitey” at first but has become a gentle sweetie. Hemi had DNA testing and is quite the Heinz 57 variety breed. A Velcro dog, he sticks very close to his new owner. All in all, everyone is happy with the new family they have formed.
Paloma (second photo) was adopted on Oct. 17. When we followed up with her new owners a couple of weeks later, they said that Paloma was doing great and that they were very happy with the adoption.
Martha (third photo) was adopted on Nov. 16. Her new owners said that everything is going fairly well. There’s a little bit of territorial growling but, for the most part, everyone is happy!
Major (fourth photo) was adopted on Nov. 16. His new owners said that he is doing great with his new family. He is not showing any aggressive behavior. He is starting to dig in the yard. He is not trying to dig “out,” he just loves to dig for fun. Luckily, the family doesn’t have a problem with that.
