Misfit Felines: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The money we recieved from the Kia Pet Adoption Grant was used to discount adoption fees on some of our Forgotten Felines. We were able to offer the discount fee over a number of adoption events. Most of our long-term fosters found forever homes. Also, we freed up space to take in more needy cats and kittens. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this generous gift.

Sparky and Muffin were saved from euthanasia by Misfit Felines Rescue. They each had a seriously damaged eye. The eyes were removed and the cats were judged healthy enough to be adopted. Unfortunately, their wait became quite long.

When the Petfinder Foundation awarded Misfit Felines the Kia Pet Adoption Grant, we used the money to reduce adoption fees for our Forgotten Felines. Sparky and Muffin were two of our cats who benefited from the generosity of the Petfinder Foundation and Kia. They have a home!
