Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
Jovie (first photo) is a soft and sleek 1-year-old house panther who came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray.
Jovie has a childlike innocence and sweet personality and, like any great pit bull, is able to Bluetooth-pair with you on an emotional level. She is a people person and oozes sweetness and love from her entire being, craving attention and insisting on being near her people at all times. She is happiest when someone is petting her, loves to give kisses, and crawls right up for a full-frontal hug.
Jovie is patiently awaiting a forever family, and is enjoying a tick- and flea-free summer thanks to the generosity of Bar Dog! You can meet Jovie here.
Meet Cashew (second photo)! We’re NUTS about this teeny tiny 1-year-old goober who came to us after being abandoned by his owner.
At only 25 lbs., Cashew is the size of a bite-sized Snickers bar or a buttered-popcorn jellybean, but he more than makes up for it in loveable personality. We could stare into his soulful puppy eyes for days. And those ears — next level! He is said to be a pittie and pug mix, but to us he’s just the perfect blend of pup.
He is living his best pest-free life while waiting for adoption thanks to a generous grant from Bar Dog! You can meet Cashew here.
