How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant provided funding for feed and veterinary care for more than 75 residents, including chickens, ducks, rabbits, quail, turkeys, pigeons, goats, and sheep. We were able to open up space for additional residents, including one rabbit, 14 pigeons, and six ducks.

The grant also helped cover veterinary care for one of our pigeon residents, Pumpkin (first photo), who needed surgery to correct her foot. Pumpkin’s surgery and recovery were successful. She, Honey, and Ollie (second photo) went home with their forever family on May 10, 2025.
