Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Davy came into our rescue as a thin 32-lb., 2- to 3-year-old beagle mix. He had diarrhea, heartworm, and a shattered left front leg. His most pressing issue was his leg.

With the help of the Petfinder Foundation Emergency Medical Grant of $500, we were able to amputate his leg. He has since gotten heartworm treatment.

Davy is doing great. He has been adopted into a loving home with another beagle and is living his best life. Thank you to the Petfinder Foundation!
