How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant afforded us the opportunity to purchase items not in our budget. We were able to provide quality items to entertain our pets in boarding and also in foster homes.
We will continue to use the funds to purchase more toys to alleviate their boredom and to keep their minds sharp with treat puzzles, tough toys, and rope toys since we will continue to have rescues that will benefit from this grant when others have found their forever homes.

Bernie (photos 1-3) enjoyed his Nylabone Fun and Flex dog toy while he was in boarding but now enjoys the tough toy and rope toys in his foster home.
Wesley (photos 4 and 5) especially enjoyed the wadding pool on our hotter days. He also enjoyed the frozen peanut-butter treats in his Nylabone Fun and Flex dog toy, which is for light to medium chewers.
