How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant helped offset the cost of Gibby's dental procedure so that we were able to provide her the care she needed without an impact on our ability to accept other area cats in need. She was clearly in pain prior to having her teeth removed, and is thriving now that she's feeling better - something we believe every cat that enters our care deserves!

Gibby came to us a shy, shut-down cat who had only known one person for most of her life. She had received minimal vet care prior to coming to us, and her teeth were in extremely poor condition.
While she perked up a bit following a Convenia injection to manage infection, it was clear that a dental procedure was absolutely necessary.
Thanks to the support of the Petfinder Foundation, Gibby had her teeth removed. She’s now doing very well while she waits for just the right forever family to find her. She remains a bit on the shy side, but we know a family who will appreciate her fairly constant bleps and aggressive head bonks is out there!
