Sox is a young boy, just over a year old. He came into our rescue with a pretty heavy heartworm infection that took time to treat. The medical limitations put on a dog during treatment are even harder for a young pup who has not had the benefit of years of training to be calm and take it easy.

After Sox was medically cleared, a great foster-to-adopt family saw his revised Petfinder bio. He’s now enjoying life on a large one-acre yard in the suburbs with two little boys to chase.
