How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The KONG toys provided great enrichment for our dogs. The dogs really enjoy playing with and eating treats from the KONGs. During the winter months, they need more in-kennel activities, and the KONG toys provide hours of playtime.

Gretchen had some anxiety issues in her kennel. She would take her bowl and dump her food and then make noises with her bowl by throwing it around in her kennel. We decided to use one of the larger KONGS to place her dry food with some peanut butter and leave it in her kennel at night instead. It was a big hit with her, and the other dogs were much happier too without all of her noises. Yes, she is in a forever home now.
