How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Hol-ee Gigglers, KONGs, and Frisco Fetch balls are used to help during the decompression of our adoptable pets after arrival and during stray hold. The products are also used for our pooches who need enrichment during their time with us, especially our high-energy and fearful pooches.

Reese (first photo), Lexi, Carla, Madison, and June were nervous after arrival. The Hol-ee Gigglers, KONGs, and Frisco Fetch balls kept them entertained and relaxed during the decompression period.

Lexi and Carla were both abandoned by their owners and were here at the shelter for several months. Both pooches were adopted thanks to enrichment toys provided by the Petfinder Foundation enrichment grant.

It’s hard for most shelters to buy toys when medical expenses come first. Thank you to the Petfinder Foundation for awarding the City of Prichard Animal Shelter a 2025 Dog Enrichment Grant.
