With this grant, we were able to neuter Kadence, a Peruvian guinea pig, who was surrendered to our shelter after his “parents” divorced. Until the neuter, we were unable to adopt him out, so he lived in a small enclosure in our lobby. He received minimal care due to the heavy workload our staff holds daily. Once he was neutered, he never even made it back to the shelter! A staff member at the vet clinic fell in love with him, and they adopted him the same day! This connection was only made possible through the generous grant provided by the Petfinder Foundation. Thank you!
