How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We received funding for a fracture repair for Sandra D, a young shih tzu who was on the verge of euthanasia at one of our local shelters. It was a lengthy recovery, but she healed completely and now is zooming around with her forever fur brother. She will have an amazing long life full of love and the joys of being a cherished pet.

This sweet girl, Sandra D, received grant funds that we utilized to repair a serious fracture after she was hit by a car and was never claimed by her owner. We were able to avoid amputation and she was able to return to full functioning and found a family to love and cherish her.

This is what her forever mom shared: “She is AMAZING and we love her so much! She snuggles with me and puts her head on my chest and she and Wynston are best buddies and play all the time. She was able to have some supervised time in the pool and loved it. She even figured out how to get herself out. She is SO smart.”
