It helped by giving high-quality toys to dogs in our care. Because the Kongs are not easily broken, they provide hours of enjoyment to the dogs. The grant also helped because we didn't have to buy the toys so we were able to use our funds for other reasons and not just toys.

Milo was a pit mix who was a high-energy dog, but a very good boy. He would get bored easily and would break any toy we gave him. Because of that, we had to stop giving him toys for safety reasons.

Well, when we gave him a Kong, it was a lot harder for him to break and he spent hours chewing on it. It helped with his boredom, which helped him get adopted.
