Thanks to this generous grant, we were able to provide added comfort to 40 adoptable pets both here at the shelter and in foster homes. These beds allowed us to provide a little added comfort to those animals who needed it most while they were waiting for their forever homes.

True to her name, Tootsie is as sweet as can be. Originally adopted from Pasadena Humane in 2024, she was sadly returned when her guardian faced severe medical challenges and could no longer care for her.

At 7 years old, Tootsie quickly stole hearts once again with her gentle spirit. To help her feel more at ease during her stay, we chose Tootsie to receive a cozy P.L.A.Y. bed. We thought it would be perfect for this adult dog who was missing the comforts of her former home. She absolutely adored it — immediately!

And just hours after her photo was taken posing sweetly in her new bed (first photo), Tootsie found her forever home. Her new adopter saw the love in her eyes and welcomed her home for good. Best of all, she got to bring her beloved bed with her!
