This grant made it possible to save the life of Grant, a sweet black Lab mix around 3 years of age. Grant was unable to walk due to apparent abuse (first photo). Specifically, this grant made it possible to provide Grant with not one but two critical surgeries to repair his broken legs.
Grant had both surgeries and recovered quickly in a foster home. He was so cute and eager to learn how to walk on all four legs again that it came very quickly.
Grant was adopted by a loving family of six (fourth photo). His oldest human brother was extremely caring and helpful in getting Grant to continue his physical therapy.
Grant is now fully mobile and loves to take walks to the park, where his new adopted family has taught him to fetch. Grant remains very sweet and loves to lie on the couch and lay one paw on whoever in the family is sitting next to him.
