How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
Having ample space and enclosures is crucial for the well-being and health of pigs. The new three-sided enclosure will provide our adoptable pigs an area where they can be protected during the summer and in the winter season. It brings some shade to the rescued pigs during the summer where they can cool off. In the winter time it provides them with shelter from the rain as well as the freezing temperatures.

Henrietta (first photo) is a sweet 6-year-old pig. She enjoys veggies and her pig pellets. She was brought to our rescue so she would have the opportunity to find a loving forever home of her own. She enjoys mud baths and loafing around in the sun. She enjoys being petted and getting pellets.
