Solano County Animal Care: Dog Field Trip/Short-Term Fostering Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We will use the funds to purchase supplies for our Dog Day Out/Short Term Fostering Program, including Martingale collars and leashes, waste bags, collapsible bowls, tote bags, adopt-me bandanas, car seat covers and seat belts, and shelter info tags. These items will help the foster get the pet out into the community to be seen and hopefully adopted.

This past weekend we had our first adventure out and three dogs were adopted! Cosmo, Bonnie, and Sophia were the three special pups who were adopted. All of their adopters had not expected to adopt that day, but saw them out and about and it was love at first sight! Happy tails all around!
