How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant was instrumental in helping us provide food and care for many animals who evacuated due to the Palisades and Eaton fires. In addition to dogs and cats, we helped evacuate horses, pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, donkeys, and cows, to name a few. With such a need for different types of food, this grant was very helpful.

This grant helped many animals, particularly Charlotte, a sweet one-year-old piggie evacuated due to the Palisade fires. Thanks to this grant, Charlotte received the care and shelter she needed until she could be reunited with her loving owner safely.
