Holly’s journey to recovery was made possible in part by a $500 grant from the Petfinder Foundation. This generous support significantly offset the costs of this 7-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel’s life-saving surgeries, which included the removal of both mammary chains, a spay procedure, and the removal of both eyes due to severe glaucoma.

The total cost of her care reached $3,190. This funding not only brought Holly closer to a pain-free life but also increased her chances of finding a loving home. Furthermore, it alleviated the financial burden of her critical care, enabling the Humane Society of Boulder Valley to continue providing vital support to other animals in need. Today, Holly thrives in her new home, a testament to the impact of compassionate support and the resilience of the human-animal bond.
