Faithful Friends Animal Society: Play Pet Beds Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used this grant award to enhance the living space of our adoptable pets during their stay at our shelter. We believe in providing comfortable living spaces for the animals in our care and use donated blankets, bedding, and enrichment toys made by our staff and volunteers to accommodate the animals' needs, help them feel safe and loved, and decrease their stress levels. The P.L.A.Y. Pet Beds were the perfect addition to use for cats and dogs of the appropriate size in need of extra comfortable space in their kennel.

We have attached photos of eight adoptable pets using their P.L.A.Y. beds, and we have many more we could share. As you can see, all of these adoptable cats and dogs look cozy and comfortable in their beds!

The first photo is of Lena, a senior female mix. Her Petfinder profile can be viewed here. Lena was returned to Faithful Friends after eight years with her humans because her people were moving and couldn’t take her along. She has great manners and would be the perfect companion for a petless family.

We are thankful to the Petfinder Foundation for giving this girl a comfortable bed to enjoy while waiting for her forever family!
