Animal Rescue Konsortium (ARK): Cat Enrichment Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation, many rescued cats and kittens at Animal Rescue Konsortium (ARK) cattery in Crescent City are enjoying special cat toys, treats, and cat accessories. ARK was fortunate to receive a Cat Enrichment Grant to enrich the lives of cats and kittens while there await loving families. Our cattery houses between 15 and 18 kittens and cats. The Cat Enrichment Grant provided them with cat accessories and enrichment items. So many cats are purring and enjoying the amazing enrichment items thanks for their generosity.

In 2025 we had 21 kittens and 25 cats adopted.

The cat pictured was extremely shy and was always hiding. With the cat enrichment toys and accessories, she blossomed and started socializing with the other cats and kittens in the cattery. The kittens really enjoy the cat toys and the wall scenery scratch. Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation, our furry feline friends are happier and puurrrrrrring.
