How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

With this grant, we were able to complete funding for an attached catio for our kitten room. Cats will now have safe access to an outdoor area, allowing for an enriched experience for the cats in our care. Catios provide fresh air and increased square footage, decreasing the risk of sickness in a shelter environment and allowing them to explore the outdoors in a safe manner.

Moo Moo and Eclair were two kittens who were shy and reserved. Since the addition of the catio, their personalities have blossomed! They are now outgoing, inquisitive, and typically rambunctious kittens.

They are awaiting a forever home and can hang out in our new, beautiful catio while they wait!

They are not yet live on Petfinder as they have not yet been spayed and we fix every pet before making them live for adoption.
