Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Karma is a sweet older dog (9 years) who really wants to find a warm home to call her own. Her family was in a housing crisis and tried desperately to keep Karma but had to make the hard decision to surrender her.

Karma hasn’t regularly lived with other dogs, but she potentially could if properly introduced and given her own space to decompress. She has great energy (especially for her age!) and we are surprised by her youthfulness!

She was raised around kids but hasn’t been around small children in a long time, so we are recommending a home with older kids plus a vinyl fence at least 6′ tall. Karma has many years left in her and would love to build new memories with you this holiday season!

She is currently our longest resident, and is still waiting for her furever home.

You can meet Karma here.
