Abandoned on the side of the road while heavily pregnant, Mama Anabelle (first photo) was rescued just in time. Hours later, she began delivering her puppies, but complications arose. After four puppies were born, the pregnancy stalled and we had her rushed to the ER. The pup that was “stuck” did not survive, but we were able to save the one remaining puppy.

Anabelle had a total of five healthy puppies (second photo). She was adopted to a loving family in May and is still being treated for heartworm (third photo). All five of her puppies have found their forever homes.
