How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant was very helpful with our foster kittens and cats. We had originally received the beds for our foster/sanctuary dogs but unfortunately the dogs were able to shred them very, very easily and quickly. The remaining beds we have were tried out with the cats and kittens and worked very well in our kitten condos.

When Sparky, a tiny tabby kitten, joined our foster program, he quickly proved he had plenty of personality. What he didn’t have was a comfy spot to call his own until the P.L.A.Y. bed donation arrived.

While these beds didn’t survive our sanctuary dogs (let’s just say they tested them a bit too thoroughly!), they’ve been perfect for our foster kittens and cats. We placed the remaining beds in our kitten condos and Sparky immediately claimed one. He loved stretching out on it between play sessions, and we often find him lounging like the king of his condo.

The beds have made our kitten spaces more comfortable and inviting, giving fosters like Sparky a cozy spot to rest and feel secure. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference for the kittens in our care.
