DASH Dogs And Second Homes: Wag Wine Operation Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant directly supported the veterinary care of two new-intake pit bull-type dogs in our rescue. It funded the neuter surgery for 2 Chains, a male pit bull, and allowed Venus to be spayed at the time of her cherry-eye surgery. These procedures ensured both dogs received critical medical care while being placed in loving foster homes to recover, improving their health and preparing them for adoption.

2 Chains, a male pit bull (photos 1-3), is currently recovering from his neuter surgery in a loving foster home. Venus (photos 4-6) is also healing after her spay and cherry-eye surgery.
Both dogs are new intakes and are receiving attentive foster care to ensure full recovery.
This grant allowed them to get the medical care they needed immediately, setting them up for healthy, successful futures and eventual adoption into loving homes.
