This Emergency Medical Grant from the Petfinder Foundation allowed our rescue to provide the emergency care that Kane needed due to an unexpected incident that he was involved in. The grant provided financial relief to our organization after we had to cover the hefty vet bills from the incident. Our rescue is now proud to say that Kane is fully recovered and available for adoption.

This grant helped Kane, a very special boy who has faced many challenges thus far in his short life.
Funds from the grant allowed our rescue to provide the needed care to Kane after he was involved in a preventable, but unfortunate, incident with another dog in a foster home. He was left alone with an aggressive dog and suffered many injuries, such as bite marks, scratches, and blood inhalation.
Kane has since fully recovered and is available for adoption. His adoption fee has been fully sponsored. He’s currently undergoing training with our rescue’s trainer and is looking forward to finding his forever home!
