Homes For Howlers: Senior Pet Adoption Assistance Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
The money will be used to sponsor the adoption fee of Queenie, who is about 9 years old. The fee covers things such as vet visits and any medical expenses, if needed.
This was a huge help, as we are a small organization with a small budget, but we do everything we can to make sure that the health and welfare of the animals in our care come first.

Queenie is a sweet older lady at 9 years old. She has been with us for a bit now. She is a boxer mix and 52 lbs.
She was saved from the euthanasia list at a high-[intake] shelter in Texas. She is currently with a foster family enjoying a warm bed until she finds her forever home!
Queenie is adorable with her little eyebrows and cutest little teef. She even has a little heart shape on her backside. She does well with other dogs when properly introduced and does well with adults and kids. She is potty-trained and likes to lie quietly on her bed or in a cool spot in the yard. She is well-behaved and easy to walk on a leash. Queenie does need a home without cats.
