Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Max was a small, underweight dog with a heart full of love and a spirit longing for a forever home. When Max first arrived at our shelter, he was frail and timid, clearly in need of special care and attention.

Day by day, Max grew stronger and more confident. His once-dull coat began to shine and his eyes sparkled with hope. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to help Max regain his health and trust in humans.

The turning point in Max’s journey came when his new family walked through our doors. They had been searching for a new furry friend and were immediately drawn to Max’s gentle demeanor and hopeful eyes. They knew instantly that he was the missing piece that would complete their family.

After a smooth adoption process, Max went home with them, where he was welcomed with open arms and hearts.

Today, Max is thriving in his new home. He enjoys long walks, playful afternoons in the backyard, and cozy evenings snuggled up on the couch. His days are now filled with joy, love, and plenty of belly rubs. Max has not only gained weight and health, but he has also found his place in a family that cherishes him.

Max’s story is a testament to the incredible impact that the Kia Pet Adoption Grant has had on our shelter and the lives of the pets we care for. We are immensely grateful for this support, which has enabled us to transform the lives of pets like Max and connect them with the loving families they deserve.
