This grant made our kitties so comfy by providing thick bedding and material that was easy to clean.
Many times, donations of towels and sheets are provided as bedding, and these beds made a world of difference as our cats gravitated towards them. We would not have been able to buy these on our own, so it was really nice that the grant supported this need.

Kovu (first photo) especially loved his P.L.A.Y. bed, as he came to us with skin issues and just fell in love with his Chill Pad. It really seemed to provide just the right support and comfort for him. When we had towels for bedding, he would tend to get up multiple times and circle because he couldn’t get comfortable. It was obvious that he was more comfortable with these P.L.A.Y. beds, because that behavior completely stopped.
He has not been adopted yet, but he is in a foster home for the moment. We are hoping the foster mom will consider adopting him.
