This grant is helping us get our cats ages 1 year and older adopted a lot faster and helps make room for us to help more cats and kittens in need.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

The first pet this helped was our adult cat Eve (first photo). She was a great kitty, but we are a small rescue that is foster-based only, so it is harder for us to market our older cats and find them good homes. With the Kia grant, we are able to offer a $100 discount on our adult adoption fee (normally $250), which helps us attract more adopters for our older kitties.

Snickers (second photo) has since been adopted as well as Eve with our Kia adoption grant. We have Peggy (third photo), who is available now and who will also benefit from our Kia grant. You can meet Peggy here.
