The Kia Pet Adoption Grant was a saving grace for many of our animals. We used the grant to reduce adoption fees for many of our black, long-term animals in rescue.

Dandelion had waited six months to find her forever home. Even though she was a puppy, extremely well-socialized, and so loving, she was overlooked at every event as all the other puppies around her were getting adopted.

After we announced our reduced adoption fee event and reduced Dandelion’s adoption fee, she was finally seen and was adopted by a wonderful family. We are so thankful to Kia and the Petfinder Foundation for the many animals they have helped with this grant.
