The Kong toys are helping keep the dogs occupied and engaged. The toys are very durable so they will last a long time. Some dogs will go to their new home with a toy while some Kongs will remain at the shelter for future dogs to enjoy.

One dog in particular that this grant helped is Winnie (first photo). She loves chewing on bones and hard toys and normally destroys them, but with the Kong toys, she is able to keep this toy for a long time. She hasn’t been adopted yet and is still available on Petfinder.
