How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
Thanks to this generous grant, we were able to purchase new and upgraded Kuranda dog beds for our dog kennels!
We’ve used Kuranda beds for years because they help keep dogs comfortable, clean, and elevated off the kennel floor. However, every once in a while we get a few very enthusiastic chewers who think the beds double as a snack. Thanks to this grant, we were able to upgrade to metal Kuranda beds, which are much more durable and will help our equipment last longer, even with our toughest testers.
Comfortable dogs are happier, less stressed dogs while they wait for their forever homes — and this upgrade helps us provide just that.

This grant has already helped dogs in our care. Pictured here is Timber. Timber recently had his neuter surgery and afterwards developed an upper-respiratory infection. The Kuranda dog bed provides him with a cozy place to recover. Timber is still on the mend, but once he is feeling better, he will be ready to be adopted.
