How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We had a number of dogs who had been with us for a long time, so we had a promotion for them that reduced their adoption fees. We focused on one dog in particular: Hail Mary. This helped with her lodging, food, and vet care while in our care.

Hail Mary was born on April 22, 2023. She was found to have some medical issues and was not available for adoption right away. She was added to our “I’ll be home in time for Christmas” reduced-fee initiative. At this time, she has a pending adoption!
