This wonderful grant really helped with the exposure of the Facebook post we made regarding Vincent, his age, and that his adoption fee was sponsored. Thanks to that post and the grant, Vincent was adopted!

Vincent was “retired” from a breeder and we were asked if we could take him in. He was about 9 years old and as sweet as could be!

He had to have an extensive dental as well as x-rays as he had a stiff gait when walking. Thankfully, the x-rays showed no signs of cancer, arthritis, fractures, or back problems.

While he was the sweetest boy and did great at adoption events, he had zero interest. We had to wonder if it was due to his age. Having the option to tell a future adopter that his adoption fee was paid for helped this boy find his forever family after living in a kennel most of his life!

Vincent has been adopted.
