This grant provided funds to waive the adoption fee for Norm, who had been with us for several months and had not been adopted due to his age. It also provided all the supplies that his new family would need for the next year, including flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, a collar, leash, toys, and a year's worth of Purina dog food.

Norm had been waiting for many months to be adopted, with no luck. However, once we got the Petfinder Foundation Senior Pet Adoption Assistance Grant, he immediately got an adoption application from a sweet couple! They fell in love with him and the grant made it possible for them to afford to bring a senior pet into their home.
