There was a dog named Kyson who was incredibly sweet, calm, and well-behaved. He had been in our care for a month and had been overlooked with no adoption interest.
A couple, Tabitha and Brandon, came to us during the grant promotion period looking for a dog who was a good match for their home. Brandon has MS and needs assistance to walk, so they needed a more calm dog to be his companion and also needed a dog who could live with their two cats.
When we brought Kyson in to meet them, they were instantly in love with him and couldn’t believe how amazing of a dog that he was. After discussing with them, it really seemed like a perfect fit and Kyson was adopted that day.
Thanks to the adoption fee being waived, Brandon and Tabitha had extra funds available to buy supplies and were immediately buying him toys, treats, and more online. They have since reported that he’s doing very well in their home and has been a perfect match.
