Creatures By Theresa: Other Animals Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We used the grant funds to reduce our adoption fees and try to find our long-term animals and all other surrenders/rescues loving homes, and to have the funds to spay/neuter rabbits for the coming year, including rabbits currently in the shelter.
CBT spayed three rabbits and neutered one with this grant, and it has reduced the fees for nine animals thus far.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
Flanders, a young Flemish giant male, was in a horrible situation and CBT took him in with the help of others. Despite the conditions, Flanders was in great shape, so we’re thinking maybe he wasn’t in these undesirable conditions for very long.
A very nice lady was interested in adopting him and she waited for him to get his neutering scheduled and completed. They are great friends now and Flanders loves his new home and has figured out every inch of his space and then some! Both Flanders and his mom are happy.
Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation grant we were able to get his surgery done and reduce his fee to get him adopted quickly!
