Let me introduce Beaver. Beaver was a shepherd mix. When we first met him, he had been staying around a store. Someone noticed that Beaver was injured, but he was so skittish that no one could get near him. It took us about a week to be able to get him into the shelter.
Beaver had been shot in the leg and was not friendly at all. After meeting with our vet, we knew Beaver was going to lose one of his back legs. He had already been through so much.
After Beaver’s leg was amputated, the staff continued to work with him and gain his trust. Beaver finally got a great foster home and they were so over the moon in love with him that they adopted him. Beaver finally had his forever home and all the love he could handle.
