This grant has helped us so much because it has allowed us to place cats in homes for a discount or free. So far we have placed four cats and four more are listed at a discount. We will list more adults at a discount or free as we receive them into our care.

The Kia Pet Adoption Grant helped us place Colby in a successful foster-to-adopt home where he was eventually adopted.

Colby is an all-black cat, and we are one of the few local rescues that will take in black cats. Most rescues will not take them because they are hard to adopt out. But using the Kia Pet Adoption Grant, we’ve been able to get several black cats adopted, including Colby!

Colby was rescued from a hoarder-house basement, where he saw no sun. Now he is living his best life with his dad! Colby says, “Thank you, Petfinder Foundation and Kia, for saving my life!”
