This granted help Misfit Manor Dog Rescue provide necessary medical care, specifically to Gidget, who required a front-leg amputation surgery because of her deformed leg.

Gidget came to us as a very young pup (first photo). She had a deformed leg which required amputation; however, she was too young to have surgery.

While we waited for her to grow enough to safely endure surgery (second photo), we concentrated on building her health and she went to regular physiotherapy and acupuncture sessions to learn how to move on three legs and to adapt to a healthy body balance with a missing limb.

She has since had her surgery and completely recovered. She was a perfect patient and an now lives an incredible life with her adoptive family and fellow canine companion (third photo).
