Camilo was a sato (street dog) in Puerto Rico. He was hit by a car and seriously hurt. He was left on the side of the road for days, suffering, until we were made aware of him and he entered our program immediately.

Camilo was vetted and found to have two broken legs; he was also covered in lacerations and contusions. He had surgery using plates and screws to repair his fractured bones. With surgery and follow-up procedures, Camilo’s vet bills reached over $7,000. The Petfinder Emergency Medical Grant was a huge help in paying for Camilo’s care!

Camilo’s foster mom, Coraly, fell in love with Camilo. He is now a foster fail and in his forever home with her!
