How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The grant received helped to pay for several vaccines, spay and neuter surgeries, and medical expenses for many of the animals in the care of the shelter.

During this time, the shelter was in desperate need of money to help alleviate the financial burden of these expenses. And thank you to this wonderful grant from the Petfinder Foundation, we were able to provide the necessary care for the animals in the care of the shelter.

COVID-19 has drastically reduced the fundraising ability of the shelter. And thanks to this grant, some of that burden was alleviated. I attached pictures of some of the animals that this wonderful grant helped. Wilma has been adopted. From her Petfinder profile: “Wilma is one of the most cuddly, loving dogs we have. She is the cutest little pocket pit. Would be a wonderful dog for any age children to love on and play with. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her shots. She came in as a stray but her owner never came back to reclaim her or the other dog that came in with her. We think she would be fine with another dog but would have to do a meet-and-greet first.”
