This grant supported our rescue by reducing adoption fees and finding loving homes for 10 amazing dogs. We were able to promote our rescue, the awarded dollars, and the fantastic Petfinder Foundation organization and grant.

Beans was one of the fantastic dogs supported by this grant. Beans came to RESCUEDohio as a stray, which is similar to many dogs in our rescue.

Sadly, we believe Beans was hit by a car at some point and left with a hip injury that didn’t quite heal right. However, Beans has NOT let that get in the way of living his best doggo life. Pictures and videos on the foster group show Beans being a fantastic house guest, playing nicely with other dogs, and smiling. He knows he’s loved and has the brightest outlook on life.

Beans was happily adopted prior to Christmas of 2025 and we’re happy to report that everyone is thriving!
