Betty was a 7-year-old rabbit who had been with Dolly’s for more than a year after her owner became ill and was no longer able to care for her. She was a larger rabbit and required the space to exercise and roam. She loved people and got along with the cats in her foster home.

She was very social, once she got to know you, she loved attention and pets on the nose and would boop you if you stopped! Along with her spunky personality, she liked to play with her stackable cups, baby keys, and enrichment cardboard cut-outs. Best of all, she was spayed and great with her litter box!

With the help of the Petfinder Foundation, we were able to donate her adoption fee, annual vaccine, supplies, food, and an enclosure to her new adopted family, making the initial expenses of owning a bun much less abrasive.

She was adopted within days of our posting her story on our social media pages, and we are so thankful to this foundation for supporting our senior bun! Photos 2-4 show Betty with her new family.
