How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We had a mother rabbit give birth to seven babies while in the rescue. She was originally found behind a dentist's office whose staff named her Flossy. We tried to get her fixed before she gave birth, but after only two days we had seven more mouths to feed and take care of.

We were overwhelmed with the cost associated with spaying and neutering all seven babies, so we reached out to the Petfinder Foundation for help.

After they were spayed and neutered, two of the babies, Scooby and Velma, were adopted together and are living their best lives in their new forever home!

Without the help of the Petfinder Foundation, we would still be working to secure enough funding to get all the rabbits altered. We sincerely appreciate the willingness and dedication to adoptable animals that the Petfinder Foundation has provided throughout the grant process.
