How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We were thrilled to be chosen for the PLAY Pet Beds Grant. The dogs in our care are LOVING them. Many of the pups we get in are from commercial breeders and have never been in a house before, and never slept on a bed. While it always takes time for them to adjust to being in the house, having a dedicated cozy space for them is critical. All of the beds we received in this grant are being used to help make dogs feel more at home. Not to mention our foster parents are loving the stylish new pet bed!

Riley came from a breeding facility and had never been in a home, let alone have a bed of his own. Over a few weeks his foster family was able to gain his trust and make him comfortable. When his foster mom brought home a brand new bed for him, he was as excited as a kid in a candy shop. He is constantly lying in it and snuggles himself in! His foster mom said he always looks so comfy at night.
