This grant allowed us to help pay our vet bill for Riggs, a French bulldog puppy who was suffering from aspiration pneumonia due to having a cleft palate.

The two dogs that this medical grant went towards were Benson and Riggs. They are French bulldog puppies who came to us at just a few days old. They were surrendered due to having cleft palates, making them unprofitable for the breeder.

They both required very careful feedings and were high-risk for complications. Unfortunately, Riggs did develop aspiration pneumonia and required hospitalization over a few days to recover.

This grant assisted in defraying the vet bills we have received from their care. Both pups are now healthy and have been adopted!
