Raya is an 8-month-old puppy who had a deformed front leg when we got her. It was a birth defect. However, her foster family noticed that her back legs also seemed weak.

The grant allowed us to pay for x-rays, which identified severe hip dysplasia. We are now treating her with Librella and she is doing great.

We are working on adopting her out to a family that understands that her hips my get worse as she ages. But in the meantime, she is happy and playful and is being the puppy she was meant to be.
